Amjad Tarsin is a well-known Islamic scholar and educator, recognized for his work in Islamic education and his efforts to make traditional Islamic teachings accessible to a contemporary audience. Born and raised in Canada, Amjad Tarsin has been actively involved in teaching, community outreach, and interfaith dialogue, particularly in North America.

Amjad Tarsin pursued his Islamic education at the prestigious University of Toronto, where he studied Islamic law and theology. Afterward, he continued his studies at the University of Al-Azhar in Cairo, one of the oldest and most respected institutions in the Islamic world. His education at Al-Azhar provided him with a deep understanding of Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), Quranic exegesis (Tafsir), and Hadith studies, under the mentorship of some of the most prominent scholars in the field.

Upon returning to North America, Amjad Tarsin became actively involved in Islamic education and community leadership. He served as the first full-time Muslim Chaplain at the University of Toronto, where he provided spiritual guidance, organized educational programs, and facilitated interfaith initiatives. His role as a chaplain allowed him to connect with students and help them navigate their spiritual journeys in a challenging and diverse academic environment.

In addition to his work at the University of Toronto, Amjad Tarsin has been a regular instructor at SeekersGuidance, an online Islamic seminary that offers traditional Islamic education to students around the world. His courses often focus on spirituality, ethics, and the practical application of Islamic teachings in daily life. His engaging teaching style and ability to relate Islamic principles to contemporary issues have made him a popular and respected teacher.

Amjad Tarsin is also involved in various community outreach and interfaith dialogue initiatives, where he works to promote understanding and cooperation between different faith communities. His efforts in these areas have helped to build bridges and foster a spirit of mutual respect and collaboration.
