The Adversity Women in STEM Face
StephanieAs our society grows, awareness grows for those that are discriminated against. Women throughout society have been told ‘no’ and ‘you can’t do that because you’re a woman’, but times have changed and women can accomplish anything a man can and then some! Especially throughout schooling, women are told not to challenge themselves but what would life be without a challenge? Erika and Victoria, both seniors attending San Diego State University , studying astrophysics give me their take on the adversity they have faced while being women in a male dominated major.
