Along the way, she stumbles upon an ancient evil society that is currently operating as a traveling carnival throughout the midwestern United States. With her trusty (or is he?) retired detective sidekick, Kevin Schneider, she tirelessly searches for the truth by producing a podcast she plans to share with the world, possibly putting herself in danger as she gets into the thick of it.
