Bazaar has been published in New York City since November 2, 1867, originally as a weekly publication entitled Harper's Bazar. Originally published by Harper & Brothers, since 1913 the magazine has been owned and published by Hearst. The magazine is the world's oldest operating women's fashion magazine, and one of the first fashion magazines to be published in the United States.
